Cloud Camp

Northern Ireland’s first IT infrastructure summer camp took place between 8th and 12th August 2016 at the Belfast Metropolitan College’s Titanic Quarter Campus.

Those who joined the Novosco Cloud Camp this summer gained hands-on IT infrastructure experience with professional IT engineers and Belfast Met College (BMC) lecturers. They also received their very own Raspberry Pi to keep, which they used during the camp to learn with, solve problems, and have fun. Prizes were presented at the end of the course.

Cloud Camp is aimed at year 11-13 students and there are 30 places available. There is no charge to attend the camp, and attendees are provided with a free £5 lunch voucher per day.

Each morning, the students came to the impressive BMC Titanic Quarter Campus at 9:30am for stimulating, enjoyable and rewarding sessions, before finishing up each afternoon at 4pm. The camp also featured a visit to Novosco’s offices in the NI Science Park to experience a world-class IT infrastructure company in action.

Cloud Camp is part of Novosco’s commitment to developing Northern Ireland’s IT talent for the future of the industry, and is a significant opportunity for you to enhance your career prospects. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Almac on this project, one of Northern Ireland’s most innovative companies.

Applications are now closed for 2016, we will be welcoming applications for the 2017 Novosco Cloud Camp in the Spring of 2017!
