Creative Technology Director  

Andrew joined Novosco as Creative Technical Director after the Novosco merger of doolop Ltd.  Andrew graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast with a degree in Applied Maths and Computer Science, where he was awarded the prestigious ‘Kainos Computer Science Prize for Excellence’. During his time at Queen’s University a keen interest and ability with parallel software, distributed systems and mathematical modelling led him to focus on communication systems which coincided with the increased interest in the pre-web Internet.

With over 20 years communications experience, Andrew has been involved with applying Internet solutions since it first became possible to connect private users and companies.  Andrew founded Applied Computer Systems in 1994 where he consistently implemented leading edge and emerging Internet technologies.

Observing the increased demand for cloud services and Internet communication, Andrew realised the need for more speed, seamless networking and resilient connections. To deliver a leading solution that was cost-effective for smaller businesses, Andrew designed a network solution that combined private networking and bonded broadband. To mark this new offering the company was rebranded as dooloop Ltd, which then merged with Novosco in June 2009.  dooloop technology was rebranded as Novosco’s CloudStream service and Andrew’s role will be to continually develop and pioneer the latest internet solutions for the CloudStream portfolio.
